the Cafeteria Manager module you build
the family and student database.  The system
handles Free and Reduced Applications and the establishment of benefit types. You set
prices for reimbursable meals and a la carte
items under as many pricing options as you
would like. A few more easy steps and your
management system is ready to start tracking
meal transactions and do all the reporting
necessary for the Federal child nutrition
programs. |
The Cafeteria Manager Workstation
allows for multiple access points into your Cafeteria
Manager module. This provides the opportunity
to spread the workload between operators and even
between buildings in your district.
The Cafeteria Line module
is the point-of-sale where you quickly charge
for meals purchased. Free and reduced meals are
kept confidential even while the computer system
is deducting the correct amount from their family
account balance. The system will give notice of
negative or nearing zero balance. Multiple meals
are allowed but even if they go through different
lunch lines, only one meal will be reimbursable
and the correct charge will be made to the student
account. Taking cash in the line is an easy option
as is charging a la carte. Because of the flexibility
of the system, you do not need to set up separate
"cash only" lines or "a la carte" only lines.
