Announcing a new tool designed to make data sharing easier -- DataBridge v1.0.

With DataBridge (DB), you can share information between DataTeam programs. That means you'll be able to synchronize data between two programs with a click of a mouse.

Make changes to an employee address in Fund Accounting² and automatically update that employee in HR². DB makes the changes for you, so you're no longer entering duplicate information.

You can also use DB for initial setup of employees in HR² by forcing a “sync” from FA² to HR².

Use the Force Sync feature in DB to send employee information such as name, PR ID, SSN, address, phone number, active status, and dates from FA² to HR².

How it Works:
You’ll choose the fields you want to synchronize, and you’ll decide which product will be the “source” (the sender) and which product will be the “destination” (the recipient). When you run a forced sync, DataBridge compares the values in FA2 and HR2 and forces the selected fields in the destination to become the same as the fields in the source.
