LAWRENCE, KS, May 30, 2002 --A
leader in not-for-profit financial accounting, DataTeam Systems,
Inc., signed a joint agreement with Advantage Computer Enterprises,
Inc., to provide an integrated accounting and utility billing package
to city governments nationwide.

shares the same values in providing very cost effective state-of-the-art
solutions. As a team, we will be able to provide the accounting
and billing solutions that are needed to effectively operate the
medium or small size city government." Roger Haack, DataTeam

The partnership will provide city governments
with a complete accounting package--integrating DataTeam's new fund
accounting and payroll software with the Jayhawk Utility Suite,
the new utility billing system from ACE.
"We met at a municipal government trade
show and had a great deal of respect for each other. We realized
that the synergy between our products was incredible, and municipal
governments will benefit greatly from our working together,"
ACE Vice President Cheri Clark said.
The cooperative efforts will begin immediately
to develop the necessary interface and tools needed for the two
software programs to work seamlessly. Both companies estimate the
release of the integrated products in early 3rd Quarter 2002.
