DataTeam eNews: Winter 2002

Roger B. Haack, president & CEO It’s amazing how fast time flies, and that the new year is already in full swing. As we look back on 2002, we count our blessings. Our major accomplishment in 2002 was the release of our new windows version of fund accounting called Fund Accounting². Since its release, the conversion to this new system has been going very well. Nearly half of our fund accounting clients have converted already. We will continue to convert more clients at a mutually agreeable pace, so be sure to check our website for announcements of conversion workshops.

This quarter's quick tip deals with the report toolbar and the employee screen. We have had several clients call in who are unable to close the employee screen because the main tool bar was blocking the "close" or "x" option. Here are some tips on how to remedy this problem and avoid it in the future.

DataTeam is proud to announce the following additions to our staff:

Paula Walters - (Dec '02 - Receptionist) Prior to coming to DTS, she worked as a Customer Service Rep for Pro Print. She is from the Kansas City area.

Amy Pabst - (January '03 - Administrative Solutions Specialist) Prior to DTS, she spent five years at Sprint. She is originally from Colby, KS.

Sherri Pahcoddy - (Nov '02 - Customer Support Specialist) Prior to DTS, she spent two years working as a Technical Support Specialist at Payless Shoe Source. She is originally from Wichita, KS.

Kelly Kneebone - (Nov '02 -North Central Account Executive, working in primarily Iowa & Illinois) Kelly recently moved to the Kansas City area from Charlotte, NC. Kelly has a Business Degree and a Bachelors of Environmental Studies from the University of Kansas.

The following members of the DataTeam Staff have been promoted:

Jacque Garrett has been promoted to Marketing Coordinator. She joined DTS in Jan '01 as an Administrative Solutions Specialist. Jacque is originally from Larned, KS.

Misty Ortiz has been promoted to Forms Software Coordinator. She joined DTS as a part time Receptionist in April '02. Misty is originally from Albuquerque, NM.

DataTeam helped support the KASBO candidate at the national ASBO election with financial and labor contributions. DTS designed posters for the organization to use at the International show in October.

A warm welcome to Ethan Michaels Garcia -- the newest member of the DataTeam family. Ethan was born on Oct 12, 2002. Ethan is the son of Rudi and Lori Garcia. Lori works in graphic design and marketing at DataTeam.
