In the last newsletter we reported that DataTeam had partnered with InfoTronics to bring you a proven and full-featured time and attendance system. This system tracks employee hours and attendance and then integrates that information with our payroll and leave system. This process will save extensive time in tracking and entering data. We knew this integration was good for our clients, and would help them survive Fair Labor Standards Act audits, but since that announcement we have found that it was even more important than we imagined.

In the past DataTeam has focused on writing our own solutions. Our Fund Accounting, eRequisitions, Fixed Assets, Human Resources, Lunch Express and Activities Accounting are examples of the quality software we have built. As we focused on how to respond to requests for a comprehensive time and attendance system, we determined that an excellent solution already existed in the field. Our objective was to give you, our valued clients, the best possible solution in the shortest amount of time. In this case, integrating existing technologies was the best and quickest answer. So instead of writing new software, we chose to capitalize on InfoTronics' 25 years of experience in their industry.

DataTeam will continue to respond to your requests for new products and services. If we can’t find the right solution for our clients, we will build it. But when proven solutions exist, and they can be fully integrated into your systems, we will take that approach. We are currently looking at other technologies that may be integrated, while at the same time continuing to add new and exciting features to our products. The goal, as always, will be to provide you with the best tools, solutions and services available, to help you meet the heavy demands of your job.
