Spring is in the air, and that means its
budget time. That also means it will be time to negotiate
raises for certified and classified staff for next year. If
you are responsible for negotiations, we have good news for
you!
DataTeam has just released a significant upgrade
to our powerful Human Resources2 module that will
make negotiations a snap.
Easily compute the cost projection for
different raise increases.
Coming up with cost projections for different salary increases
is now fast and easy. Calculate the difference from a 2.7
percent salary increase to 3.1 percent in no time.
Interact directly with Microsoft®
Excel®:
Version 1.3 of HR2 can interact directly with
Excel to import a salary schedule. By running the
Summary or Detail reports by Salary Schedule, Funding Source,
Location, Position or Employee, you can get an accurate
assessment of the payroll cost of that scenario. It only
takes a few seconds to import a new salary schedule so you
will be able to run multiple scenarios as you work towards
agreement for next year.
Salary schedule also exports easily to Excel®,
making publishing the schedules for your teachers and staff
quick and easy.
These powerful new tools are available at no
charge to clients under the HR2 support program.
Also, if you need help in setting up Excel® salary schedules,
DataTeam can also provide that service. Were here to
help.
DataTeam is also working hard on a new version
of Fixed Assets/Inventory. Packed with more features, and
more robust reporting, FAI2 is like a whole new
program. A special version of this softwareFAI2+GASB
will also include GASB 34 reporting and depreciation, providing
a complete audit trail for individual items and groups of
items.
Watch your email for more product and service
announcements from DataTeam that are designed to make your
job easier and more productive. We're here to provide you
with better and more timely information from which to make
those important management decisions. Were your data
team!
Have a great day.
