DataTeam has been hard at work on product modifications as request by you our valued clients and friends. We are pleased to have released Fixed Asset Inventory2 + GASB which is a very powerful yet easy-to-use program to track your assets. Many clients have enjoyed the multiple import capabilities into the system and the fact that the pesky Capital Asset Note Disclosure report required by GASB 34 is a standard report in the system! Plus there's even an detail report for your auditor showing all the items and the depreciation by the function where the asset is used. Many clients will need to file their GASB 34 report this year for the first time and FAI2+GASB will be a powerful tool in creating the fixed asset information required in the Management Discussion & Analysis.

DataTeam has released an upgrade to Human Resources which exports contract information to the repeating entries section of our Payroll system. This will be of great value when it's time to set up all of those new contracts in Payroll. The HR release also incorporates tighter control of printing Microsoft Word contracts from within the system. Plus, we added more certificates, and over 17 import wizards to speed the setup process.

While some may be thinking about kicking back for the summer time, we at DataTeam keep thinking about what is the next power tool we to provide to our clients. We have several exciting things in the hopper which you'll hear about, in future newsletters! So stay tuned!
